Hi everyone, my name is Polly Marie.
I make products with organic ingredients for self and home, pet and laundry care. Sunwood Growers is a woman-owned little place where we are growing and propagating plants, raising chickens, ducks, and lop-eared rabbits.
The core of our story is rooted in California — I grew up on an orange, lemon, grapefruit, macadamia nut, and avocado grove. That love for sustainable growing and hands-on care of the land is what started everything.
California has a way of shaping you. Growing up here means the beach is never far, the mountains are always on the horizon, and the fields and farms of Orange County are woven into everyday life. That connection to the land — the salt air, the sun-warmed soil, the rhythm of the seasons, and the animals that are part of it all — is in everything we make at Sunwood Growers. Today, our chickens, ducks, and lop-eared rabbits are a daily reminder of why we do what we do.
And then there's Lloyd, the beloved dog of Ryan and Corrina, who holds the distinguished title of Chief Inspiration Officer at Sunwood Growers. It's only fitting that our Sunwood Paws Healing Salve was created with dogs like him in mind — because every pup deserves the same pure, caring ingredients we use for ourselves.
For over 25 years, I've worked as a speech and language therapist — at schools during the week and at a clinic after school and all day Saturday. A few years ago, a physical condition made it impossible to do the land and animal care I'd always loved. During my recovery from hip replacement surgery, I found myself researching and testing formulas for the everyday products I was already using — and realized I could make them better, cleaner, and safer.
Nearly a year post-surgery, those formulas became Sunwood Growers products — first shared with colleagues at the schools and clinic where I work, and now available to everyone.

You'll find her collecting eggs and giving the bunnies the hugs they deserve. She reminds us every day what this is really all about.
